to the ST-36 series but with a short shank and wider gaps. Shorter shanks
allow larger gapped hooks to be used without the fear of trebles fouling on
each other and by nature of the design, short shanks flex less. This treble
also features 150° PPP (Premium Point Position - see illustration) that
splits 2 hook points out 150° vs. the typical 120° between all 3 points.
Opening this gap allows the hook points to be positioned slightly farther out
from the hardbait body, making for hookups that otherwise might not happen.
Opening the gap to 150° also allows hooks to do less damage to baits and keep
point sharper over time. This treble includes Owner's Silky Gray frictionless
finish that encourage superior hook penetration through gill plates and the
toughest parts of the mouth. Other features include round bends, and Super
Needle Points. When rigging baits always rig the front treble with the point
in line with the eye, facing forward, and the rear in line point facing rear. |
